This page is dedicated to taking a closer look at human pheromones.
Do human pheromones exist?
And if so, can they really attract others?
Since starting this web site 2 years ago, I've received a growing number of questions about pheromone products. Guys want to know if pheromones really work - and if so, which pheromone products are the best for attracting women.
Well to be honest, I didn't know much about pheromones until just recently. Because of all the questions I've been getting about pheromones, I started doing some extensive research of my own into human pheromones.
Not only have I learned a lot about the history and scientific studies involving human pheromones, but I've actually tested a few pheromone products out for myself - just to see what would happen.
My tests may not be "clinical" but I think they are a good indication of what to expect (or what not to expect) in real-world situations. In any case, I think you'll find my findings interesting.
But before getting into my results, let's take a moment to understand more about human pheromones - what they are, where they come from, and so on...
So what exactly are pheromones?
Pheromones are airborne chemicals which are emitted to attract the opposite sex.
Researchers at the University of Colorado have found that pheromones are detected through the Vemeronasal Organ (VNO) in the nose. The VNO functions as the distinct sensory apparatus that detects pheromones. All people they examined had two small holes on both sides of the hard divider in the nose. The holes are found just inside the opening of the nose. A group of clear cells lies just behind these holes. These cells are similar in appearance to nerve cells . These scientists have concluded these cells are responsible for detecting human sex pheromones. The pheromones then transmit a signal to the hypothalamus in the brain (the brain's center of emotions), sending a chemical message of sexual attraction.
Pheromones are believed to be detected on an instinctual, subconscious level. In other words, you don't know that you're receiving them, but you are.
There are many different species of animals (including humans) which emit pheromones. In the animal kingdom, it is very easy to see the awesome power that pheromones have over sexual instincts. For example, a dog "in heat" drives other dogs crazy with sexual desire from miles away - using only their natural pheromones.
Basically, the drive to mate is a strong natural instinct in all animals (including humans) and sexual chemicals are what drives those sexual instincts.
But pheromones may be much more important than we realize...
Some experts believe that pheromones drive our social interaction as well.
There are many who believe that pheromones also help to make people feel comfortable around you, and want to be in your presence. In other words, pheromones may not just be purely a sexual attractant. Instead, pheromones may also help trigger non-sexual desires to be near a particular person.
If this is true, then pheromones are even more important to us than we ever thought possible.
At the present, this appears to be just a theory. But it makes sense. If pheromones are truly capable of arousing sexual desire in the opposite sex, then it's not a stretch to believe that pheromones are equally capable of arousing social desires in the same manner.
Either way, it is clear that pheromones are extremely powerful and can definitely influence the sexual desires in others (whether it be with humans or other species).
So where do human pheromones come from?
Pheromones are produced by the human body and are emitted through our sweat glands. Every man and woman produces pheromones.
The problem is: Our bodies don't produce enough pheromones.
According to researchers, humans have essentially lost the ability to naturally produce sufficient quantities of pheromones (at least enough to have a discernible effect on the opposite sex) as a result of evolution.
And to make matters even worse, it is believed that the pheromones humans do produce are often destroyed or overpowered by deodorants and antiperspirants containing alcohol.
This is truly unfortunate considering the importance of pheromones to our social and sexual behavior.
So what's the solution?
Well, most pheromone-selling companies out there would have you believe that the solution is to splash on (or spray on) some pheromone cologne.
But does this really work?
Is it possible to attract women simply by dabbing on some "pheromone" cologne?
I wanted to find out for myself so I decided to give it a try.
I had seen a lot of sales ads for a particular pheromone concentrate. It's a product that seems to be for sale on literally hundreds of different web sites. Recently, I bought a small bottle of this well-advertised pheromone concentrate and tried it for myself. I used it as directed for 4 solid weeks and guess what happened... absolutely nothing!
I used this "well-advertised" pheromone cologne for 1 entire month and noticed absolutely NO changes at all in my daily encounters with women.
In fact, the only thing different was that my wallet was now $65.00 lighter.
As far as the cologne itself, I was disappointed that it came in such a tiny bottle. Even though I was careful not to waste it, the entire bottle only lasted me a month before I completely ran out.
I was also unhappy with the false claims. When I ordered the cologne, the web site I ordered from said that the cologne was odorless. However, that was obviously a lie. When I got the product, I immediately noticed a slightly strange odor to it. The first day I wore it to work, a couple of co-workers actually asked me "what's that smell?" I pretended like I didn't know what they were talking about, but I knew what it was - and it was very embarrassing.
So basically, the whole experiment proved to me that pheromone colognes do not work.
A lot of people may find this a surprising conclusion, considering that with all the sites out there selling this product, there must be at least a thousand people a day buying this worthless cologne.
But it's true. It had absolutely no noticeable effect on my life or interactions with women. None.
So if pheromone colognes (and sprays) don't work, then what does work?
That's a very good question. After my experiment with pheromone cologne, I started searching the internet for other types of pheromone products to try. I didn't want to try any more colognes or sprays, because basically they're all exactly the same.
Instead, I wanted a totally different type of product altogether.
But this wasn't as easy as it sounds, because basically colognes or sprays (containing some type of pheromone) are the only pheromone products on the market.
In fact, I was about to give up when I stumbled across a very new and different type of pheromone product. The more I read their site, the more sense it seemed to make...
I found a product called a Pheromone Releaser, which is an herbal supplement that supposedly helps to stimulate the production and release of human pheromones.
Apparently, this is a one-of-a-kind type of product. They say that there's nothing else like it, and from what I can tell - they're right.
The product is called Attract-Rx. According to their site, they claim that each person emits a unique pheromone. Because of this, they claim that colognes and sprays will not work precisely for this reason.
In order for others to respond to pheromones, they need to be your pheromones. Generic, mass-produced pheromones are certainly not unique to your body's chemistry; thus, they will not work.
I have to tell you that this theory makes a lot of sense to me. After all, if you want someone to be attracted to you specifically, then it seems obvious that it should be because of your unique pheromone scent.
Needless to say, I was impressed with what they had to say. Their information was quite different than anything else I had read on the subject, so I decided to order a bottle of their pills and give them a try.
I took the pills as recommended and within 2 days, I began noticing "different" reactions from women! Different in a good way.
I got a lot of glances and smiles from women that I came into close contact with, and I even engaged in a little flirting with 2 different women. Best of all, they were the ones who initiated the contact.
I can tell you that as an average-looking guy, this rarely happens to me, so I really think the Attract-Rx had something to do with it.
Over the next month, I kept taking the pills and I continued to receive more and more attention from women!
It was absolutely amazing - I had never experienced anything like it before in my life!
I went out to a club one night with some of my friends and I literally had women all over me the entire night. My buddies couldn't believe it. Normally, I'm the guy in the group who sits alone and watches while my friends pick up women. But that night, I was getting all the attention and it felt incredible.
Now you may think that all of this was just a coincidence - and you may be right. But I honestly don't think so. Based on my past experiences with women, I can tell you that this kind of thing has never happened to me before. I have never had this level of attention from women - every single day - for an entire month.
So do I think that Attract-Rx really works?
Yes, I do. To me, there's no other explanation for what I experienced.
I am totally convinced that Attract-Rx works.
Now keep in mind, I'm not a scientist and I have no way of proving how or why it works. And frankly, I don't really care at this point. I am just happy to have found a product that works and a pheromone site that cuts through a lot of the crap and tells it to you straight.
Their theories about why pheromone colognes and sprays don't work MAKES A LOT OF SENSE to me.
If it is true that over time, humans have gradually lost their ability to produce and emit adequate amounts of human pheromones, then it makes perfect sense to correct the problem by boosting your pheromone levels back to where they should be. This seems like a much more logical approach to solving the problem of depleted pheromone levels than simply splashing on some generic pheromones from a bottle.
In any case, this is the conclusion I've reached based upon my own personal research and real-world experiments.
If you took the time to read this page, then I would guess that you are very interested in trying a pheromone product of some sort.
There are a lot of choices out there when it comes to pheromone products, but it's really not as complicated as it seems - so don't be overwhelmed by flashy ads or advertising hype.
There are basically only 3 different types of pheromone products:
Colognes and sprays are both basically the same. They are generic pheromones that you either splash on (or spray on) your body. They are intended to mimic your body's natural pheromones. Of course, as the Attract-Rx site points out, this does not work, because each person has their own different pheromone chemical composition.
So that just leaves Attract-Rx. Instead of trying to mimic your body's pheromones, Attract-Rx actually helps to boost your body's production and release of your own natural pheromones. As I mentioned before, this makes a lot of sense. And given my amazing results while using this product, I am convinced that it truly does work.
So what's the bottom line?
Forget about colognes and sprays. If you want a pheromone product that will work for you, then Attract-Rx seems to be the only real option. It worked for me and I would be willing to bet that it will work for you too.
Attract-Rx comes with a 75 day, money-back guarantee which is great. Most colognes and sprays have little or no guarantee - that should tell you something right there.
If you want to try Attract-Rx for yourself, you can visit their site at attract-rx.com.
By the way, given the growing interest in human pheromones, I'd like to add more information to this page so that future readers can stay informed. The purpose here is to simply help guys make a smart buying decision when it comes to human pheromone products.
There are a lot of pheromone sites out there which make wild claims about their products. My goal is to cut through all the hype and give consumers the facts about pheromones.
So if you have any comments or suggestions about how to improve this page I'd love to hear from you. You can email me here. I'd especially like to hear from anyone who has tried Attract-Rx or any other type of pheromone product.
If I can get a few guys to tell me about their experiences, I'll make another page and post your experiences there (anonymously, of course). Anyway, thanks for reading and I hope this information helps in some way.
Thanks and best of luck!
